Lipo-B: The Fat Burning Shot
Frequently Asked Questions:

What are Lipo-B (vitamin B12 with Lipotropics) Weight Loss Injections?

Lipotropics are three amino acids that are essential for the health of your liver. The liver is the organ responsible for removing fat and toxins from your body; so when it's healthier, it will work better for you. Vitamin B12 gives you a huge energy boost, which helps you to burn calories.
The vitamin cocktail included in the B12 and Lipotropic shots are compounds that enhance liver function and increase the flow of fats and bile from the liver and gallbladder. By definition, a lipotropic substance decreases the deposit, or speeds up the removal of fat within the liver. The key amino acids used to make these shots are Vitamin B12, Choline, Methione, and Inositol.
Vitamin B12 is essential for helping to form new, healthy cells in the body.  It also boosts energy, helping to increase activity levels.
Choline supports the health of the liver in its processing and excretion of chemical wast products within the body.  Moreover, it is required for the transport and metabolism of fats and cholesterol within the body, which is important for the healthy support of the endocrine, cardiovascular and hepatic systems.
Methione is one of the sulfur-containing amino acids and is important for many bodily functions.  It acts as a lipotropic agent to prevent excess fat buildup in the liver and the body, is helpful in relieving or preventing fatigue and may be useful in some cases of allergy because it reduces histamine release.
Inositol, a nutrient belonging to the B vitamin complex, is closely associated with choline.  It aids in the metabolism of fats and helps reduce blood cholesterol.  Inositol participates in the action of serotonin, a neurotransmitter known to control mood  and appetite.

What about B12 injections by themself?

We offer B12 by itself because some people just want the energy, not the weight loss. Others who want to lose weight but have a sulfa allergy can take this and boost their energy so they can burn more calories. The results are slower with the B12 by itself, but it does help. Vitamin B12 is a vitamin typically found in meat and dairy products. It helps in the formation of red blood cells and is essential for nervous system functioning. B12 creates a significant energy boost for the body. Patients who take it feel like moving around more and tend to burn more calories through increased movement.

Does the lost weight come back when you stop using the Lipo B injections?

These injections are set up to be used in conjunction with a diet and exercise program.  As with anything with weight loss, the only way to keep the weight off long term is to change your lifestyle.

Can an appetite suppressant be taken along with the injections?

Yes, you may take appetite suppressants with these injections. In fact, they enhance your weight loss results. We offer prescription products to aide in you weight loss.

Which is better to use for weight loss- B12 alone or with Lipotropics?

The B12 with lipotropics will help you to lose weight faster than the B12 alone.

Can I take these injections if I have high blood pressure?

Yes, several patients may no longer need their blood pressure medications after losing weight.

I am taking other prescription medications. Can I still use these injections?

These injections are very safe. The Vitamin B12 with Lipotropics is composed of a vitamin and 3 amino acids.  It will not interfere with other medications you are taking.

Combination Lifestyle Change Recipes
**************************************************************************************************************

Like all diets there are rules.  For example, the Adkins’s diet is high protein and no bread. Another is calorie counting and measuring.
The combination diet rules are very simple.:

1. Never mix protein and starches in the same meal
(Remember potaotes, corn and peas are starchy vegetables.

2. Eat fruit alone or leave it alone

3. Wait the appropriate digestive times between meals.

Fruit juice = 0 minutes
Starch and vegetables= 3 hours
Whole fruit= 20 minutes

Protein and vegetables= 4 hours

Raw vegetables and salad =2 hours

Don't mix starch meals with protein meals.

A protein meal of meat, cheese or eggs, is broken up by the teeth and passed down to the stomach. In response to the arrival of the protein, the stomach lining produces a strong acid, and enzymes which digest protein in acid solution, and a thick sticky mucus to protect the lining of the stomach from attack by its own enzymes. These enzymes snip the long protein molecules in our food into shorter chains and then into individual amino acids.

A meal of protein may take several hours for complete digestion before passing on into the small intestine. Here the stomach acid is neutralized by bile salts from the liver. The pancreas now adds further protein digesting enzymes to complete the digestion of protein and the soup of amino acids is now absorbed through the villi that line the small intestine and are passed on into the blood stream.

A meal of starch is partly digested in the mouth where chewing mixes enzymes in the alkaline saliva with the food. The starch molecule is split into sugar molecules. A starch meal does not stimulate the stomach to produce acid, or protein digesting enzymes, and the food is passed on to the small intestine within an hour. In the small intestine, further enzymes are added in an alkaline solution that complete the breakdown of starches into sugars. These are also absorbed through the villi that line the small intestine and pass into the blood stream.

This system only works efficiently if starch and protein appear as separate meals. The food combining lifestyle puts this scientific knowledge into practice.

If starch is mixed with protein, the enzymes in the stomach are diluted and the stomach feels full for longer because digestion of protein is inefficient. Acid is being produced for every mixed meal, which puts the stomach under stress. The acid has to be neutralized by the bile salts for every meal, which puts the small intestine under stress.

Example for a day:

Breakfast:
Fruit juice before your meal. Stop juice when you start meal (I.E. bacon and eggs). Wait 4 hours.

Snack:
fruit - wait 20 minutes before anything else.

Lunch:
French fries (starch) and salad (with no meat, nuts, lentils or cheese) and any vegetables. Remember the nuts and lentil beans (dry beans: pintos etc) are proteins. Wait 3 hours and you may have a snack. But remember what ever the snack is via protein, fruit or starch you must wait the time of appropriate digestion before you eat something else. See above.

Dinner:
Steak, salad, any non-starchy vegetables (NO corn, green peas, lima beans (green), potatoes, black eye peas)

If you know you want dessert like cake (example going to a party) choose your starch meal for that event.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You may have your starch meal, protein meal and fruit at any meal but the rules are the same.

(DIGESTIVE TIMING)
If you had a busy day and all your meals that day were starch combinations, that's okay. But don’t do it everyday. Try to get all food groups in each day. Plan your meals when you are able.
