Welcome! Dr. Lena Bruce and Pam Pixley, R.M.A. are happy to introduce our weight loss program. We are located at 12422 Highway 6 Santa Fe, Texas 77510. For driving directions, please visit www.mapquest.com or locate our map on the "contact" tab.
The program is a combination of dietary education and counseling, utilization of tools such as dietary supplements, or prescription medications, along with weekly injections. We are open Monday throughThursday evening for established patients in the program (Office Hours are posted under Services). We schedule new patient appointments in group sessions for general information. Afterwards, each patient meets one on one with Dr. Bruce. The first visit may take up to 2-2 1/2 hours for the group and individual consultation. This is very important. Within the orientation, we inform each patient full detail of the program. The patient also informs the doctor of many personal variables (hectic job, single parent, etc.) and health information. This time spent getting to know each other will help the doctor assess your needs and to design a specific 'game plan' to help you be successful in your goals. These new patient groups are usually scheduled on select Thursday or Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Thereafter, you'll just come in once a week for a weight measurement and injection. You will need to see Dr. Bruce or Pam for follow up appointments every 6-8 weeks.
No appointment needed for your weekly injection, just come in once a week and sign in at the front desk. It is very important to keep your scheduled follow up appointments with Dr. Bruce. Missing your scheduled follow up visit will result in a delay in your process in this program.
Our injections include H.C.G. (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin), A.M.P. (Adenosine Phosphate), G.H. (Tev-Tropin) and Lipo-B (SEE Injections). Our program is customized to your health issues and needs. These injections increase your metabolism and decrease your appetite. The H.C.G. also helps tone your muscles to promote loss of inches and improve cellulite. Learn more when you join our program.
Of course, with any weight loss program you should consult your personal primary physican for a complete check up, including labs. We suggest T3,T4, Complete Metobolic Panel and CBC. Please bring a copy of any and all test results and clearance to your first visit.
THE FIRST VISIT IS A LENGTHY PROCESS OF INFORMATION GATHERING FOR YOU AND OUR STAFF. PLEASE BE PATIENT.
(Obtaining your test results and clearance will expedite the process.)
*We try to keep the waiting time down; therefore, the appointment time spent with Dr. Bruce or Pam must be limited to the issues of the weight program. If you need medical treatment or refills (other than the weight program) please see your PCP. We apologize for the inconvience, but the weight clinic and medical clinic are two seperate institutes. If you would like to become a medical patinet of Dr. Bruce's, please contact her medical practice.
